I’ll gently guide you when needed, but I’m really there to capture what’s already happening, the little glances, the movement, and the feeling of it all. I'm Sarah. I picked up my first camera in 2016 and haven’t been able to put it down since, but what matters most to me isn’t just the photos, it’s how you feel during them. I believe everyone deserves to have photos that feel meaningful and true, without pressure or overthinking. I grew up in the Sacramento area, surrounded by the mountains and coast, which shaped my love for natural light, open spaces, and moments that feel grounded and real. When you book with me, you’re not just getting photos, you’re stepping into an experience that’s relaxed, connected, and fully centered around you. When I saw Sarah's online photo gallery, I knew she had the exact style I was looking for - natural yet sophisticated portraits, while capturing nature in the background beautifully. Sarah did an incredible job photographing my wedding in May 2024. The photos are stunning. I was already impressed with Sarah after our first contact, almost a year prior. Lighting/time of day for the ceremony was a concern of mine and she took the time to explain and show me various galleries of hers so I could understand how the lighting would look on my wedding day. A few weeks before our wedding, we did a couples shoot to get comfortable in front of the camera. Sarah suggested an awesome location and it really helped us feel prepared. On our wedding day, she handled everything smoothly even in a busy setting. The photos themselves are SO BEAUTIFUL. The editing and lighting look perfect and we are so happy with the results.
